AI ads for TikTok

AI TikTok ads for fashion stores

Updated

In short

AI TikTok ads are vertical ad videos made with an AI creator instead of a filmed shoot, so a store can test many hooks and swap in new creative as the old ads wear out. FlowFits makes them for fashion products: one photo in, a 1080p vertical video out, checked against the product. You upload the creative to TikTok Ads Manager and run the campaign yourself.

Where you are now

If you advertise a store on TikTok, whether it sells through a website, a marketplace or a Shop, the bottleneck is rarely the budget. It is the supply of new videos. An In-Feed ad that worked last week gets scrolled past this week by the same people, and the campaign needs a replacement before the numbers sag. Most small fashion stores cannot reshoot every few days, so the same three videos keep running until they stop working.

Testing hooks makes the problem worse. A fair test changes one thing at a time: the opening second, the room, the text on screen. That multiplies the number of videos you need, and every one of them has to look native to the feed, shot vertically on what looks like a phone, not cut down from a horizontal brand film.

FlowFits is built for that supply problem in fashion. Every video starts from your product photo and comes out vertical and 1080p, with the same saved creator, so a test compares hooks rather than faces. It does not touch your ad account: you download the videos, upload them to Ads Manager and decide what runs.

How it works with FlowFits

  1. 01

Pick the products that carry the account

Start with the items you already spend on. New creative for a proven product tells you more than a first test of an unknown one.

  2. 02

    Build the creative matrix

For each product, make videos that change one variable: two or three opening moves, two rooms, or one video with different Add Text lines. Name them so the variable is obvious when you read the ad results later.

  3. 03

Keep one creator per ad account

Save one AI creator for the account the ads represent. With the person held constant, a difference in results points at the hook or the room, not at who was on screen.

  4. 04

    Upload to Ads Manager

Download the vertical videos from the Library and add them to your ad groups. Budgets, audiences, bidding and the label setting for AI-generated content are handled inside TikTok, not in FlowFits.

  5. 05

    Replace on a rhythm

Decide in advance how often a product gets fresh creative, and make the next batch before the current one tires. A Bulk Drop with rotating rooms and hooks turns that into one run instead of many sessions.

What you can make

Angles that work

  1. 01

    Hook isolation

Make three videos of the same outfit in the same room that differ only in the opening move, for example Hair flip, Chin tilt and Step in + sway for women's pieces. The winner tells you something you can reuse on the next product.

  2. 02

    Room as the variable

Hold the product and the move steady and change the setting: Elevator against Marble bathroom against Rooftop mirror. Some audiences respond to aspiration, others to a room that looks like theirs.

  3. 03

    Energy as the variable

Run the same product at Chill and at High energy. For menswear, a Confident take against a Professional one often splits by audience age.

  4. 04

    Refresh, not reinvent

When a winning ad tires, keep its hook and room and change only the colourway or the item. The account keeps the pattern that worked while the feed sees something new.

The workflows behind it

What 120 videos a month cost

Four new videos a day for one brand account is enough to rotate fresh creative into a running campaign every week while keeping a hook test going. At 4 eight-second videos a day on one account, that is about 120 videos a month, or 960 credits at 8 credits a video.

On today's plans the cheapest way to cover it is Starter at $74 a month plus 3 x $25 top-ups ($75): $149 in all, about $1.24 a video, with the prompt, the first-frame approval and the product check included. Billed yearly, the same month comes to $111.75.

Change the numbers in the AI UGC video cost calculator, or plan the month in the TikTok Shop posting planner.

What FlowFits does not do

Questions

Are AI TikTok ads allowed?

AI-generated creative can run on TikTok when it follows TikTok's rules, including labeling realistic AI-generated content. The ad still goes through TikTok's normal review.

Can FlowFits make TikTok ad creative for a store outside TikTok Shop?

Yes. The videos are yours to use commercially on any platform, so they can run as TikTok ads that send people to a website as well as to a Shop listing. The try-on workflows are for clothing and shoes; other products get hands-only POV videos.

What size are the videos for TikTok ads?

FlowFits videos are vertical 1080p, 8 seconds by default, with 4, 6, 10 and 12 seconds also available on the V1 lane. Slideshow images are 1080 x 1920.

How do I test hooks with AI TikTok ads?

Change one thing per video: the opening move, the room or the on-screen text, with the same creator and product. Upload them to the same ad group and compare. FlowFits makes the versions; TikTok reports the results.
