A MakeUGC alternative for TikTok Shop fashion

Updated

In short

MakeUGC is an AI UGC ad tool built on a simple loop: write a script, pick one of 1,000+ AI actors, generate a talking video. It also offers product-in-hand videos, motion recreation and actors that wear your clothing, for any kind of product. FlowFits skips the script: a fashion product photo becomes a silent TikTok Shop try-on or shoe POV, with one creator saved per account and every video checked against the product.

What MakeUGC is

MakeUGC sums itself up on its home page in one line: write your script, pick an avatar, generate the video. It says it has 1,000+ realistic AI actors, lets you build your own AI actor, and offers a product-in-hand format where an actor holds and presents your product on camera. Its feature menu lists Talking Actor, Custom AI Avatar, B-roll video, Product In Hand, AI Workflows and Gestures video, and the home page mentions full motion control to recreate any avatar performing the same movements, and actors that wear your clothing.

Two newer pieces are close to formats TikTok Shop sellers use. A Video Agent takes a reference video, analyses its structure, pacing and style, and rebuilds it with your product and creator images. A Content Library lets you browse proven UGC ad formats filtered by niche, style and format, and recreate one with your product image and dialog, without prompting. There is an editor for captions, music, B-roll and trims, and the product-in-hand page mentions 50+ languages with native voices and lip sync.

MakeUGC's examples and plan names point at advertisers testing creative, and it covers any product, from apps to e-commerce. Fashion is possible through its wear-your-clothing actors, but the tool is organised around a scripted actor talking to camera.

MakeUGC pricing, as its page showed it

MakeUGC's pricing page on 2026-10-01, with the Monthly tab selected, showed three self-serve platform plans, each with a Start for $1 trial button. Start up was $59 per month, shown beside a struck-through $89, for 500 credits a month and access to selected models. Growth was $79 per month, beside a struck-through $119, for 1,000 credits a month with Batch Mode and access to all AI models. Pro, marked best value, was $149 per month for 2,000 credits a month, with 3,000 and 5,000 credit options on the card, product-in-hand videos and the Video Agent; the card read $1 with renews at $149. Enterprise was custom pricing.

The page also had Quarterly and Annually tabs, which we did not price, and a time-limited banner offering 30% off and unlimited generations on certain models. Its FAQ says each generation costs credits by model, duration and resolution, that credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over, and that unlimited access on supported models only starts after the 1-dollar trial ends and the first full billing cycle begins. Separate API plans were listed at $99 per month for 2,000 credits and $299 per month for 6,000 credits.

MakeUGC does not say on that page how many credits one short TikTok video uses, so we have not turned its plans into a cost per video. The FlowFits plans on this page are priced per 8-second video directly.

FlowFits prices in videos, not credits per model. Monthly plans sized in 8-second videos: Starter $74 for up to 60, Pro $149 for up to 250, Studio $329 for up to 665, and Operator priced on a call. That is $0.49 to $1.23 a video. Annual billing is 25% off, there is no free plan, and credits reset monthly. Launch prices on Starter, Pro and Studio hold until October 15, 2026 for anyone who joins before then.

How to decide

Choose MakeUGC if the video you want is a person talking about the product, in any category or language. Choose FlowFits if you post TikTok Shop fashion and want the item shown on a consistent creator every day, with no script to write and a check that the product came out right. They overlap on recreating viral formats, so if that is your main use, try one reference video in each and compare the results side by side.

Questions

Is MakeUGC good for TikTok Shop clothing videos?

It can put clothing on its actors, and its home page says so. It is built around scripted talking videos for any product, so silent try-ons for a TikTok Shop fashion feed are not its main format.

How much does MakeUGC cost?

On 2026-10-01, billed monthly: Start up $59 per month for 500 credits, Growth $79 per month for 1,000 credits, Pro $149 per month for 2,000 credits, and Enterprise on request, each paid plan starting with a 1-dollar trial. Credits do not roll over.

What is the difference between MakeUGC and FlowFits?

MakeUGC starts from a script and an actor and makes talking UGC ads for any product. FlowFits starts from a fashion product photo and makes silent try-ons and shoe POVs for TikTok Shop, one creator per account, each checked against the product.

Can I recreate a viral TikTok with either tool?

Yes. MakeUGC has a Video Agent and motion control. FlowFits has Recreate, which rebuilds a viral video shot by shot with your creator and product, and Motion Control, where your creator performs a pasted video's movement in your product.
